A Gentle Reminder

Okay, so my DH gave me a gentle reminder to blog. "You've been bloggin a lot lately!" Which was his ways of saying that I haven't been blogging at all. So here I am again. Forgive me for my unfaithful ways.

I had a parent-teacher conference with Mrs. Perry today. Preston is doing very well in school. I am proud of him and am satisfied with the report that his teacher gave me. It was the first time I had really talked to her and I really like her. I was informed that he is in the top reading group.

What else have I been up to? We have our family pictures on Saturday morning, so I have been chasing new clothes down for the kids. Of course, nothing I picked out fit Natalie. She is very hard to fit. She is so tall and thin.

Of course, Monday was a holiday. We used the day to go to Costco (twice) and I got a pedicure while James entertained the children by getting the car washed and taking them to Target. For lunch, we had Costco hot dogs. We recently got a new Costco here in Visalia. It is the largest in California. It is so crazy there...but do you think that keeps us away? Of course not.

I am also working on getting Lady Bug registered before her litter comes. She is a full bred Shih Tzu, but has never had papers, so I am working on that so that the puppies will be papered. I had to take pictures of her today. I picked her up and boy is she heavy right now. I think she may only be two weeks away from birthing. I am so excited!

I have to return to school tomorrow. It's like the real world is kicking back in. And I can't help but think how crazy my life is going to be from here until Christmas. Term papers and projects and Christmas shopping...OH MY! (Can you tell my kids have been watching the Wizard of Oz? If only I had a pair of ruby slippers to click and have my term paper done.)

Well...I am off to see the Wizard...well, maybe not the wizard, but my hubba-hubba DH!
