So, there is a ton going on in my life right now. But first, let me update you on my little shopping adventure.
I left my house at 11:30 on Thanksgiving night to head to the Tulare Outlet Malls for their crazy after Thanksgiving sales. My DH was sure that I wouldn't last all night. He told me that I would be back home and in bed by 2 a.m. However, 2 a.m. came and went and I was still going strong. Deborah and I spent an hour in line at Baby Gap Outlet to buy a total of three items (she had two and I had one). We finally left the outlet just before 5 a.m., but not to return home, just to head to Gottschalks that opened at 5. We were one of the first to get there and we got our free $10 shopping card. Cool huh? Then we headed to J.C. Penny's. But, we weren't done yet. We had a quick break for breakfast at Ryan's Place and then we headed out to a few more stores. I finally got back home at about noon on Friday. Then I showered up to head over to my in-laws' house for some games with some family that was here from San Diego. I finally got in bed at 8 o'clock on Friday night. I was up for 36 hours straight. Can you believe that? It is totally crazy! But I did it! I shopped all night!
This week I have two quizzes. The first of which is tomorrow. I have also been working on my projects for my nursing class. One down, two to go. Oh, what I would give for some motivation right now. But it is hard to focus when Christmas is just around the corner and I want so badly to put up my tree and decorate my house....but I have no choice but to keep up with the daily grind and work on my homework when I get the chance. I think the Christmas break, which they call "Winter Break" will be so welcomed.
I have registration for next semester on Thursday morning. I am really nervous that I won't get the classes that I need. They are in such high demand. I have my first and second choices picked out for all of the classes that I need. I really need to get into at least one. I also plan on taking summer school to get another one out of the way. The classes I need are Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology. Doesn't that sound like fun? I am also going to try to take Nutrition this semester. So pray that I can get into one. I am going to have to be in class in the evening this semester...which I know will make it rough for my family. That's probably why they recommend that you go to college before you have kids. But, I always seem to do things the hard way.
The puppies are doing well. There is one runt who is quite a bit smaller than the rest of them. We are making sure that she is eating, but she just doesn't seem to be growing. I think Elliot has the "runt syndrome" too. Anyway, other than that...they are well. We are looking forward to their eyes opening. That should be by Saturday or so. I will be sure to put up pictures when they open their eyes.
Also, I have been slowly but surely, working on my Christmas shopping. I really need to have it taken care of before finals! That way I can focus. Focus, focus, focus. Oh, how I lack focus right now.
The picture of all of the kids was taken Sunday before church. They were all in their matching outfits. Aren't they beautiful? You wouldn't believe how much effort it took for us to get Elliot to smile. There was crying and bribes involved.
What do you want for Christmas?
I really like to get money for Christmas. There are so many things that I want, but they tend to be pricey, so, if everyone just gives me money, I can put all the money together and buy something that I really want. I have a wish list, some crafting tools, maybe some clothes. I really enjoy shopping though, so money is great for me!
