I woke up this morning....

SICK...AGAIN! Elliot and I headed to the doctor soon after we dropped Preston off at school. Elliot was up in the middle of the night with a fever. I just didn't feel good. My muscles are sore, and I have been completely worn out. The doctor told us that we both have sinus infections, again! In order to speed up the "getting well" process, the doctor gave me an antibiotic shot. I will also be on oral antibiotics for two weeks. Elliot, who isn't feeling quite as under the weather as I am, will be on antibiotics for two weeks as well. This is yet another reason why I need to have the surgery suggested by the Ear Nose Throat specialist.
Tomorrow is my big exam, and due to my total exhaustion and illness, I have got very little studying done today. Even when I try to study, my brain doesn't seem to be working. So, we will see how the big exam goes tomorrow. There is nothing like a little sickness to slow you down.
We are still trying to sell our puppies. We have not yet sold any of them, despite lowering our prices twice.
I have kind of a funny story that will remind you (or reveal to you) what it is like to have children. Preston's jacket has been missing for a few days. I knew he had to have left it at school, but he insisted that he didn't leave it at school. I arrived early at his school to look through the lost and found for his jacket. I didn't find it there. So I asked his teacher if she had seen it. She sent me to the classroom to look for his jacket. He and I headed to his classroom to find his blue jacket. When we got there and began digging through the jackets, there was his blue jacket....and his grey jacket and his red jacket! The kid had three jackets at school! Even after he insisted that he didn't leave his jacket at school. Piled high with jackets, we left the school and returned home.
GOOD NEWS! I just heard on the news that the Hollywood writers have signed an agreement to end their strike. Hopefully tv will get good again soon. I am missing my shows like, How I Met Your Mother, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice. Oh, I am so excited for tv to be good again.
