Well, Preston's games are finally done, but life has not slowed down just yet. This week is still a busy one. I took James lunch at work today and we were talking about our week. We celebrated together when we discovered that we actually have a free night this week! Thursday night we have absolutely nothing planned. Let's hope something doesn't come up, because we could really use that time.
I have been studying for my anatomy final today...although I have not accomplished nearly what I hoped to by this time. I got somewhere between three to four hours in today and there is one section that I haven't even begun to study yet. It's a good thing that I have tomorrow to study too. I am going to need it. Studying is really exhausting. I came into the living room for a break and decided to pick up the computer and do my daily blog stalking and such.
The weather has been so miserable. While I was out running errands today, it was hard just to get out of the car. This weekend we spent a night without air conditioning because we forgot that the breakers to the a/c had been turned off to see if our power surges would go away. The surges still happen. When we went to flip on the a/c, the air was blowing and we could hear the unit running, but we didn't realize that the condenser outside was not working. We blew hot air into the house and it was one miserable night. The breakers have now been flipped back on and we are comfortable in our home again. Although, I try not to get too comfortable since it costs a fortune to run the stupid thing! For my out of town readers, the temps have been over 100 degrees here. We are in a major heat wave!
I am happy that tonight I don't have to take any kids to practice and I don't have to spend my night at a baseball game...but I get to do something that I actually enjoy. I am off to my once a month stamping club. Yes, I am actually a member of a stamping club. We get together once a month, stamp a few cards, feed our addiction to stamping by ordering more goodies and then go home and try to explain to our husbands why we absolutely had to have that 78th stamp set. I have a really good hubby though. He understands my illness and tries not to be too hard on me. It really is a sickness.
I have a new reader...so I've heard...and she told me about a new self tanner that is a must have. I will keep her name anonymous in case she wants you to believe that her beautiful skin is from hours in a tanning bed or maybe she was just blessed with beautiful golden skin tone! But she is going to bring me the name so that I can check it out for myself. I have used just about every kind that there is, but if it's good stuff, I am willing to be disloyal to my current product to find a better one!
I hope you have a wonderful day, full of cool rooms and perfectly golden skin...even if you are a red head!
