A Quick Catch You Up

Busy, busy, busy. I am sure you are not surprised to hear that.

It seems we are at baseball practice, a baseball game or something else every single night of the week. James has also had open house at the school and Natalie has had a choir performance this week. There have been a lot of late nights and very busy days. We really can't wait for baseball season to be over.

My nutrition class is finally done. Last Friday was our last class meeting. It is considered a short term class, so it is over earlier than the other classes. Anatomy will be over on May 21st. Summer school starts on May 27th. But before I can think about summer school, I have to get through my last Anatomy lab exam and the final lecture exam, which is worth 200 of the 900 points in the class. The lab exam is Monday and it covers veins and arteries, blood flows, as well as the reproductive system and kidney models. Right now I am not too terribly worried about either one of them, and am lacking some serious motivation. But, I am sure I will get around to getting serious about them both. Part of my school strategy is to work really hard in the beginning to secure a good grade and that way the final exam isn't as important. In other words, if my grade is good I am not struggling on the final to try to bring my grade up. I just have to maintain what I already have. Does that make sense?

I have to comment on American Idol. I know there are several people who are avid watchers, and I usually am. This season however has bored me to the point that I don't even watch it anymore. I just listen to what people say about the performances at school or church and find out who gets kicked off via the Internet. I would much rather watch the Deadliest Catch...it's been far more entertaining than this season of American Idol. Also, Shark is back on and it is now airing on Tuesday nights. AI just can't compete with Deadliest Catch and Shark, so it gets recorded and deleted without even a quick watch.

So, that's life in a nutshell. Baseball, school and television. Yes, I know.

Have a wonderful weekend!
