Aaaaa.....Aaaaa....

Aaaallergies! Aaa-choo! That's me! I am the allergy queen and this week they have really put a damper on my energy. Today has been the worst by far I think. I have been sneezing. My eyes are watering. My nose is running. My head hurts! It really stinks to have this problem. Why can't I be more like James? He never gets sick! He has allergies, but according to our allergist, my allergies cannot be treated with shots like his can. When fall and spring are in the air, my allergies are at their worst.



I am telling you all of this not to complain, but to tell you a very funny story that goes along with all of this. I have some fluid in my ear as a result of my allergies. I have been able to feel it and hear it for the past couple of days, but today it has been moving around like ocean waves in my ear. I went shopping today, as I told you yesterday that I would. As I was bending over trying on clothes, jeans and boots mainly for the cool weather that has to been right around the corner, I would lose my balance. So, as I am in the dressing room, it went something like this. Bend over to take off my pants, lose my balance due to my equilibrium being off from the fluid in my ear, hit my head on the wall. Bend over to try a pair of pants on, lose my balance, hit my head on the wall. The jeans don't fit, so I bend over to take them off, lose my balance, hit my head on the wall. Next pair of jeans. I hit my head so many times today. I lost count. But it was really funny. I didn't really hurt myself, I just kept hitting my head. I even laughed out loud in the dressing room as this was happening. I can only imagine what the lady in the next room was thinking as she hears thunk after thunk followed by a whole hearted laugh. In the end, I found some jeans and some boots (my husband didn't think I needed boots and he probably didn't think I needed new jeans either), and I have the bumps and bruises to prove it!



Speaking of jeans, does anyone else have as much trouble as I do finding a pair that actually fit right? It is ridiculous! I actually bought a pair of jeans today because they fit and the size on the tag was a whole size smaller than what I usually wear. Don't get me wrong, they look good and they are cute jeans, but when I saw that they were a six instead of an eight, I couldn't resist. Come on, admit it! You've done it too! Why can't they just knock all of the sizes down a number or two? We would all feel so good about ourselves, but the people that wear zeros would have to go to negative numbers. They mess it up for everyone!



James and be on a quest for yard equipment this weekend. We have decided to start taking care of the yard ourselves. I have offered to help with the planter beds, but he is going to have to do all of the "heavy lifting"of yard work. Our yard man just isn't performing the way we think he should and I am tired of dealing with him. This should be an interesting venture, since neither James nor I have done yard work before. We are actually going to have Manuel come over to show us HOW to do it.
