As I was sitting in History class the other day, Doctor "T" as I will call him asked if anyone actively kept a journal or blog. He went on to explain that a large part of the Puritan culture was journaling as a form of self evaluation and reflection. It is through journals that we know what Presidents were thinking as they went to war, why they made the decisions that they made. In short, a journal is a way to really know a person. As I really began to ponder all of this, I decided to start blogging for three reasons
1) So that you may know me better
2) So that you know what is going on in my life on a daily basis
3) So that future generations may have a glimpse into my life.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I have three children, Natalie (Nat), Preston (P-ton) and Elliot (Elli). I have a wonderful husband, James, who I may refer to as my DH (Darling Husband). I attend church at Calvary Worship Center and am so thankful that Jesus has saved me! I have two dogs, Piper and Lady. I love to craft, specifically stamping and scrap booking. I also love photography. My children are my favorite subjects. I am a student at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California and hope to graduate with my AS in Nursing.
Welcome to The Wiley Family's Spot. My intent is to post daily...so check back. Get to know us. I will be sharing the good, the bad and the ugly. I reserve the right to embellish for entertainment's sake...but will be as accurate in my reporting as possible.
