Slacking Already!

Alright, I know that I said I was going to post everyday...but I had a crazy day yesterday and when I got home, I fell into bed and was asleep before my DH could get his teeth brushed.
My cousin Heidi was here from Santa Rosa yesterday and we all had lunch; Heidi, Joshua, Emma, Grandma the Great (that is Grandma Thelma), Nana (my mother), Kara (my sister-in-law), Ashtyn (my niece), Preston, Elliot and myself. We went to Mimi's cafe. Here is a picture of Preston, Elliot and Ashtyn. Do you know how hard it is to keep children seated while you try to eat your lunch? It was all we could do to keep them from doing laps around the conveniently round table. If you are a three year old child, a round table begs to be ran around. The two older ladies at the neighboring booth didn't seem to appreciate all of the excitement. They give children crayons and a color page when they seat you at your table, but they had been doing that in school all morning, so by one o'clock, that had definitely lost its appeal.
Preston's school opened a new Kindergarten class this week. He was chosen to be in that class. I am not quite sure how they chose who would be in that class. Although, my mom insists that they took all the smart kids and put them in the new class. He is not really happy about the move. He really liked Ms. Gomez, his previous teacher, and he had several of his friends from preschool in the other class. His new teacher is Mrs. Perry. She doesn't give out gold coins for good behavior, so he is really bummed about that. We were getting quite the collection of coins around here.
Elliot's quote of the day
"Aunt Kara is a good mommy. She talks soft. You have a loud mouth mommy."
And now for Carissa's random question for the day.
"What is the last play you saw?"
(feel free to answer this question yourself in the comments section)
My husband took me to see South Pacific in Fresno. I believe that was in April of this year...but upon asking my husband, there seems to be a little dispute as to the year.

Cute pic of the kids....

The last play I've seen was 'Wicked' in Los Angeles. It is probably the best I've seen...

Hi, the last play I saw was something by Tennessee Williams at the Municipal theater in Meridian, MS. Don't remember the name of the play, but I enjoyed it. I was there with the 40 to Infinity group from the church. I was the Infinity. Nice going, Carissa. I'm enjoying your blog.

It's fun reading your blog Carissa. The last play I saw was El Diamonte's spring play "Fiddler on the Roof". Of course one of my boys was in it.

Hi Carissa, try 2 scoops of oxyclean. I usually put my garment in the washer with the oxyclean and let it agitate for a while then turn it off for about 2 hours, come back and finish the cyle. Peroxide works sometimes if the garment is already white.
Love you, Aunt Pat

I was going to suggest the Oxyclean treatment, but see you already have it. Good luck.
