Empty Nest Syndrome

Well, we sold the last puppy tonight at 8:30 p.m. We still have little Buster...but we definately are feeling a little bit of empty nest syndrome, and so is Lady. She has moved back to the porch with her friend Piper, and they curled right up together. Buster climbed up behind them in the bed...like a typical kid. I am sure they are relieved to have just one little one to deal with.

It was harder than I thought to watch the last little one to walk out the door. She went to a really nice family with two little kids. She should feel right at home with those kids around to give her love. It makes it a little easier to send them off when you know that they are going to a good home.

Tomorrow we have big plans. We are planting a new tree, planting 10 new grape vines and two new camelia bushes. Not to mention, we will be cleaning up the back yard. Eight dogs in the yard really wreaks havoc on a yard. It's time to get it cleaned up and the porch pressure washed.
