SUPER TUESDAY

As I mentioned before, I am really having a hard time motivating myself to get my nutrition homework done. Today, I did manage to get myself moving on it. I completed the reading for the first chapter and all of the assignments that go along with chapter one. I also took the online quiz. This is a huge step. I have really figured out that I would much rather go to class and have someone lecture for an hour than to have to sift through all of this on my own. I really learn better that way. I have teetered with dropping the class altogether, but realizing that I have to do this class sooner or later to get my bachelors degree has convinced me to just stick with it and do it. I am really not liking it though.

Part of our assignment for this class is a diet analysis that is divided into three parts. The first part requires me to write down everything I eat for three days and record it in a program. Now here is the epitomy of laziness...I am trying to eat as little as possible today, so that I have less to record. I know, it's sad, but true. Hey, who knows, I might even lose a couple pounds in the next three days! I realize that recording what you eat isn't terribly hard, but I just don't want to do it. And to top it all off, I feel like the professor is going to look at what I eat and scold me for it. It's like my life is an open book.

I went and voted on this Super Tuesday. I am not ashamed of who I voted for, nobody should be, so I will share that with you. I voted for Mitt Romney. Yep, Mitt. I haven't taken a lot of time to really educate myself on the candidates, but I do know this, it is basically between Mitt Romney and McCain. And since I don't want to vote for McCain, Romney it is. Voting for anyone else at this point would pretty much be throwing my vote away, since nobody else has a chance of being the Republican nominee. Silly? Maybe. But that is how my vote was determined.

Elliot got to go with me to cast my vote and I took the time to explain to her that voting is what we get to do as Americans to say what we want to happen. I want to raise her and our other children to participate in government. Voting is the easiest way of doing that and we shouldn't take for granted the right we have as citizens to participate in our government. We both got our "I Voted" stickers and we took one for Preston as well.

Carissa's Random Question of the Day
Did you vote in the primary election?
This question is in no way intended to judge you or your political opinions. I am just curious!
P.S. The spellcheck on the site has not been working lately, so I apologize for any spelling errors that you have come across.
