Not Nearly Enough

I did not get nearly enough done today.

After we added a huge amount of material to our notes in anatomy which will be on the quiz on Monday, I went to the doctor for a follow up on my sinuses. The diagnosis is that my sinuses are very inflamed, but the doctor doesn't want to put me on antibiotics again...yet. But he took one look at my eyes, and said, "What is going on with your eyes?" I hadn't realized that they looked that bad. They have been a little blood shot, but I thought that was because I am very tired and have been studying quite a bit. However, after careful examination by the doctor, he has informed me that my eyes have an infection. If it's not one thing, it's another with me. I have to put some drops in my eyes three to four times a day not. They really burn.

The interesting part of the story however is that I didn't have time to go home between my classes today. By the time I got to lab, my eyes felt horrible and I felt like I wanted to claw them out of my head. Everyone around me was saying, "Your eyes look really bad." My contacts were driving me crazy. I couldn't wait to get home and get them out of my eyes.

I really wanted to get my nutrition homework done today, but that didn't happen. I didn't even get a chance to try to work on it.

Speaking of homework, I can't believe how much homework Preston has every week. The boy is in kindergarten. Is all of this really necessary? He has to read two books a night to me and there are all these papers. I struggle to get my own homework done. Trying to get his done with him is a whole other struggle its own.

Well, I am off to wind down and get ready for bed. My schedule is so demanding that I am requiring a lot of sleep right now. I would have loved to have been in bed by now.

For you Idol watchers, one final note...What is up with all of the girls pants this week? They all look terrible with those high rise pants on!
