CASTing Call

Elliot will have her arm put in a cast tomorrow. The good news is, she doesn't seem to be in too much pain. She is annoyed by the sling and is milking her situation for all it is worth. Since she is generally a lazy child to begin with, her lazy ways have increased. Last night after we put her to bed, she told James that she would probably need help getting out of her bed in the morning. She is quite a character and this will definitely try our patience!

The doctor that will be putting the cast on her cannot see her until tomorrow. In a way it is more convenient for me and in a way it is less convenient for me. I had myself all prepared to have to miss my lab today and make it up tomorrow. My mom was going to be able to keep the kids. Since the appointment is not until tomorrow, I can go to my lab this afternoon. This is what makes it more convenient. However, I am sure that Elliot's bandages and sling are going to be horribly dirty today when she gets picked up from school. It is just an ace bandage that is wrapped around her splint right now and since she hasn't slowed herself down too much, I am sure that she is currently digging in the sand and making a mess of herself at preschool right now.

Due to our fiasco last night, I wasn't able to study much for my quiz in anatomy today. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tiny amount of studying that I had done was good enough. I did okay on my quiz after all.

I am currently working on my nutrition homework which is due Friday. I am about half done with it. I am please with my progress, especially considering the fact that I got absolutely nothing done after Elliot's fall yesterday afternoon. I didn't work on my homework at all yesterday.

Natalie has another baseball game tonight and church was cancelled tonight due to unavailability of the facility (hey, that rhymes). So we will all be headed out to Nat's game tonight. That means no time to work on homework tonight. Last week's game lasted an hour and forty-five minutes. I think that is a bit long for little league. They really should limit the game time to an hour! If only everything was done the way I think it should be done. Wouldn't the world be a better place? HA HA!
