When we got to the medical clinic today, we checked in right away. However, it did nothing for our wait time. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour to see the doctor. I find that very frustrating, especially when you have a four year old in tow. By the time we saw the doctor, she was a mess. She kept saying, "I want to see the doctor." I didn't quiet her too much! I figure maybe the doctor would hear her and get a move on!
Elli will have her cast for three weeks. Kids' bones heal rather quickly, especially with the type of fracture that she has. Thankfully, the doctor allowed a short arm cast, rather than a cast that goes up and over the elbow. This allows her to be much more free.
Elliot is waiting for the doctor to come into the room. There is nothing for a four year old to do in a room like that except to get in trouble! This is the splint that they put on her on Tuesday. It went up over her elbow and her arm had to stay bent.
"I think I'll just rip this thing right off!"
A new blue cast! And she can finally bend and straighten her arm!
As you can tell, she is not in pain!

That is a very pretty cast! Elli, you have good taste. Thanks for letting us see. That's going to make for interesting birthday pictures.
