How Cool Is That?

Okay, I just have to tell you that I never win anything. Well at least I thought that, until today. I was doing my daily rounds of blog stocking, and I headed over to one of my favorite blogs (for crafters) http://inkstampnscrap.blogspot.com, and there I discovered that I won some blog candy! This gal, who is an awesome stamper, will put up prizes that you can win, if you post a comment. She was giving away a custom watermark. It's useful for posting pictures of cards you design on sites like www.splitcoaststampers.com. I am just so excited that I won.

What was my comment? Well I was supposed to comment about my favorite thing about spring. So I said, "I like spring because it is baseball season. And I also like to break out the self tanner." Yep, addicted to self tanner. I think it goes into your skin and causes some sort of chemical dependency in your system. Don't believe me? Use it for a week and you too shall see.

And speaking of baseball, it is quickly losing all of its appeal. James and I are going separate ways. He is off to Natalie's game, while I am taking Preston to practice, with Elliot in tow. We are really missing playing the game ourselves, and since we don't have a team this season, it's all we can do to keep from running on the field and picking up the bat and swinging away! Baseball for the kids however, is slowly taking over every night of the week and it is getting exhausting!

So, on to more important business. I NEED YOU! Our church, Calvary Worship Center, is in the process of building a new church building. As a fundraiser, we are giving away a trip to NEW YORK! Airfare, hotel accommodations, Broadway tickets, and spending cash, is all included! HOW COOL IS THAT? You just need to buy a raffle ticket (or 10) from me, and your name goes right into the drawing. Out of state? No problem. You can still win and get the airfare from an airport that is convenient for you! The tickets are $20. each! What a bargain! And it is for a wonderful cause. If you are interested, send me a private email and I can give you more information! You can check on our building progress by visiting our website at www.calvarywc.org.
