This afternoon, Preston stopped up the toilet. He didn't know what to do, so he continued flushing the toilet. By the time he decided that he needed to get help, there was water all the way into the hall, into the hall closet, under the baseboards in the bathroom and it was even seeping into the entryway. It took me eight towels, two mop heads and four swiffer wet jet pads to clean it up, not to mention a lot of my time.
I went to see James at lunch today because they were having a baby shower for a co-worker of his during his lunch break. After that I had fully intended on going to the library and studying. Instead, I ended up wandering around Michaels for a while. But I was really proud of myself, because I managed to walk out of there without buying anything. I went to JoAnn's after I left Michaels and once again, I managed to walk out without spending any money! Aren't you proud? The craft obsessed chick (that would be me), managed to walk around two craft stores and not spend a dime!
Tonight has been a nice break. For the first Monday in a long time, we didn't have to take anyone to baseball practice. Tomorrow night Preston and Natalie both have baseball games at 5:30. James will be going to Natalie's game in Visalia, while I take Preston to his game here in Exeter. Oh the joys of baseball season. Honestly, I am really jealous. Our church softball team didn't register to play this season and I am missing playing desperately. I just want to run out on the field with all the little kids and play. Maybe we can get a team together for the summer season!
Got to run! Dancing With The Stars is on and my DH just came in to watch it with me! Aaaawww, how sweet!
