Where Art Thou Fall?

Jeans and a sweater for the morning. Shorts and tanks for the afternoon. Okay, maybe the shorts and tanks are a slight exaggeration, but this weather is driving me mad! When we leave the house in the morning, it is approximately 46-50 degrees. It is quite cool. This afternoon, on my way home, the thermometer in the car read 86 degrees. So, where is fall? I am longing for cool crisp days and hot drinks (ciders, teas, coffees). Sure I can drink the drinks now, but it is not nearly as fun as drinking them knowing the weather is cool outside. It is the end of October. It is time for the weather to change!

My children did not get a nap today and I am now paying the price for that. I will be putting them to bed early tonight because they are acting like crazy people right now. Those of you who are moms will understand. When children get tired, they lose all judgement. They scream, they yell. They jump on the furniture. They cry and fight with each other. I was unable to put them down for their naps today because I had to go to a doctor's appointment. They stayed with my mom and they came home acting like they had never heard of rules before. To maintain my sanity and to avoid an appearance by Crazy Mommy, I sent them to their rooms. I love the sound of nothing.

I am sitting here just trying to come up with something more to write about. I have writers block...so I won't bore you with random ramblings. Instead I will leave you with a random question.

Do you collect anything?

Not really. I mean if you consider crafting supplies a collection, then yes I do collect something. I am not a real nick-knack person however, so I am not a "collector." I do have a collection of Mary's Moo-Moo's that was started for me in high school. I loved cows and the collection of figurines (with names like Chip and Patty) began. I am over the cow thing though. I have kept them. They are in my office. I have no desire to collect any more of them though, because they are starting their own collection of dust.
