Yay Me!

Okay, I have totally refrained from bragging this whole semester, but the time has come for me to brag on myself just a bit. I had my midterm in my nursing class last week. I was pretty confident that I had done well on it. I went to check out my grade yesterday and you will never guess who got the best grade in the class on the midterm. That's right, it is yours truly. I am also doing rather well in my history class. I have A's in both classes right now. My DH now refers to me as his little "school nerd." I can't help it. I have always loved to get good grades. School is one thing I do well.

We are currently watching the World Series. In case you live in a hole and you don't know, the Boston Red Sox are facing the Colorado Rockies this year. My DH is rooting for the Colorado Rockies because they have never won a World Series. I am not totally convinced that I want the Rockies to win. Taco Bell is giving away a free taco to everyone in America if someone steals a base in the World Series. Tonight, someone stole a base. So be sure you go to Taco Bell on October 30th between 2 and 5 p.m. to get your FREE TACO. James made mention that if you went to all three in Visalia, you could have three free tacos. I am not sure if that is completely honest, but now you have dinner planned for Tuesday night.

I have to admit, I haven't watched the news much lately. Actually, I hardly ever watch the news. But, I do know that there are some raging fires in California. My brother and his wife and baby are not near the fires. So, if you were concerned about that, you needn't be. What a horrible loss for all of those people. Can you imagine? And, that means that our house insurance will be going up next year. That is just too bad.

Well, the laundry is beeping. That means I have to go take it out before it wrinkles. I have a sneaky feeling that I probably won't post tomorrow, so have a great and wonderful weekend!
