James was golfing while I was gallivanting around today. He golfs as much as he can when he is on break from school. It was raining and he still went golfing. Talk about love...I don't know that he would go out in the rain for me! Just kidding my DH...I know you would go to the end of the world for me, even if it was raining!
I just saw a Bruce's Yams commercial, so I think I will take this opportunity to say that canned yams are just wrong. They were never meant to be canned. They were meant to be baked like a potato and then eaten with some butter on them. If you do anything else to them, you are just ruining a great thing. I really can't stand it when people ruin yams by putting brown sugar and marshmallows all over them. That's just gross.
Tomorrow night, our church is going to Roller Towne for a church skate. It should be lots of fun. I will be sure to get some pictures.
So I think I will add a random question tonight. Please answer in the comments section if you like. I love to hear what you all, all two of you who actually read this, think.
What is your favorite holiday food?
I think I would have to say it's a tie. I love my Grandma's stuffing. This of course is a Thanksgiving food, but a lot of times we get it at Christmas too. Although, rumor has it that we won't be having it this Christmas. I also really love my mom's Cranberry Jello mold. It's made with cranberries, cranberry jello, and it has a layer of sour cream in the middle. Okay, I know it may sound a little odd, but trust me, it is wonderful. I also like my Grandma's cheesecake. It really is a shame that we only get to have these foods a couple of times a year. Although, I think my waistline is thankful that Thanksgiving and Christmas come but once a year! OOOOhhhh, I also like Aunt Teressa's peppermint bark.

The DH here. I would brave rain, wind, and snow for you Dear. My favorite holiday food is mom's chocolate rolls. I also love the dark chocolate cordial cherries that show up this time of year. I am feeling the need for a snack!!!!!
I gotta say the sugar cookies I bake. They are made with so much love you can't help yourself!
I love almost all the holiday foods ( you can tell by looking at me!! LOL) But I guess my favorite thing is my very own yeast rolls and my mom's stuffing. I especially love to eat left over turkey or ham on a homemade hot roll! Merry Christmas to you and your family. We love you!
Hi there! Glad you decided to come back. I am kind of with Pat. I love my own stuffing which is a recipe passed down from my French grandmother to my mother and on to me, along with Pat's hot rolls. I do, however, gross up my baked sweet potatoes with brown sugar, along with the butter. Love them like that. See you. Gram.
