More Questions

Preston never ceases to amaze us with his endless questions. After his game tonight, we went to eat and he came up with some more questions for us.
"Daddy, what is glass made of?"
Now I would have just said glass, but my ever patient DH said, "It's made from sand."
To which Preston replied, "Then how is it clear?" To which James replied, "The sand gets so hot that it makes it clear."
Turning his attention to mommy, he asked "Mommy, what is your waist?"
The weirdest part about all of these questions is that we are never talking about, eluding to or anywhere near his question topics when we are talking. I guess his little mind is just constantly on the go.
I can understand Preston's way a bit. At dinner, I apparently had quite the look on my face. James said, "What?" I snapped out of my daze and told him that I was thinking about the human heart. We are studying it and I find it to be quite fascinating. A lot of people hear something at school and they never think about it. That's not me. I tend to hash things over in my mind quite a bit. In fact, there are times that I "study" without having my notes or anything with me. I just run over the things in my mind that I need to know...if I can come up with a question that I can't answer, I know to look it up later.
Well, I have to run. Survivor is coming on. Oh yeah, I am so excited, Grey's Anatomy is coming back next week! T.V. is going to get good again (hopefully), now that the writers are back to work!
